Yep, I'm boring.

Well, we can all see I've failed at blogging. I just suck at it and I'm not very tech savvy. But I'm gonna write today just cause I'm bored out of my mind!!!! I know no one reads my blog so I can pretty much write just about anything I want! :D

So lets get caught up. My nephew made his grand appearance 2 weeks early and I got to go see him!!!! I was so happy but boy was that a LONG trip. I had fun playin with my nieces and spoiling them just a little. Landon got to go trick-or-treating for the very first time! He only ate one sucker and mommy ate half the bag, then I split the rest up and gave it to my nieces. I'm a pretty awesome aunt.

Landon has completely recovered from his surgery and everything looks great! He is teething again so I ordered another baltic amber teething necklace to help with his pain. He used to have one but my oh so wonderful husband didn't know how it worked, and he broke it! Landon used to be a happy baby all the time and wasn't that clingy. Ever since it broke, he has been so cranky and clingy and constantly wanting the boob. He wont eat much table food anymore. Its just frustrating. So thats why I bought a new necklace, hoping to get my happy baby back!

SO... pretty big news! We are finally closing on our house next week!! Eeeeek I'm so excited. I hate apartment living!! Our neighbors, who are actually really nice, smoke in the hallway even tho there is a sign on the door that says "no smoking within 8 feet of this door". It really stinks up the apartments and its horrible. I can't wait to move and get settled into our house! Irwin will have his garage as a 'man cave' and I get the front living room to decorate how I want! AND that means... NO TV IN MY WOMAN CAVE!!!! I hate having the tv hog up so much room and it takes away from the relaxation. Oh, and since I absolutely LOVE giraffes, that will be the theme for my front living room :) We wouldn't be able to get this house if it weren't for my in-laws! We are trying to sell Irwin's truck to get a down payment for the house and its just not selling yet, so his dad offered to give us the money until we sell the truck. Oh and did I mention this house is going to be 10 MINUTES FROM MY PARENTS HOUSE?!?!?!?!? Thats what I'm excited about!!! It will also be 10 minutes from my in-laws house so it works out for everyone.

Hunting season is THIS SATURDAY!!!!!!!! I can't wait. Hopefully my dad will let me hunt his woods in the morning. But I doubt that will happen since he just moved and technically he doesn't even own the woods, so he's not real familiar with it. I just wanna kill a deer!! I've gone about 2-3 years without killin a deer and I'm gettin a little fed up with it!!! 

Well I think I'm done writing now.. I suck at writing. My mind goes blank when I start typing. Anyway... 

Recovering from Surgery!

My little man had surgery on Tuesday the 24th on his little boy parts. He had 3 procedures done and he has been in so much pain the last couple of nights! The dressing halfway came off today and started to swell a lot so I took him to his doctor and he peeled it off like it was nothing! Landon did not like that one bit! I hate seeing him in pain. Breaks my heart!

Landon learned something new today... he learned how to climb out of his crib! He was napping in his crib today so I took a nap in my room and turned the monitor on. He started waking up and he wasn't even crying. Next thing I know, I hear a loud thud and a scream coming from his room, so my husband and I go running in there and he is laying on the floor crying. I freaked out so bad!! His mattress is on the lowest setting. I just hope he doesn't do it again because then we would have to get a toddler bed and we all know its impossible to get a 12 month old to sleep in one of those!! 

We went to a going away bonfire tonight to say goodbye to my hairdresser who has become a really good friend of mine. She is moving back to her home country, Australia, tomorrow. There were SO many kids there and Landon was the only boy. He was sitting in the grass and all the little girls gathered around him and he was flirtin so much! Ladies man already!

Little man is in bed already, so I think its time for me to head that way myself! Goodnight!

First post

I've decided to try my hand at blogging. Again. I don't know where to start, how this works, or what to talk about! I might not have any readers or I might have a few hundred. Who am I kidding? :) I'll be talking to myself, right?! I will start my introducing myself and giving you 20 facts about me and my life!

1) My name is Brittany and I am 22 years young!
2) I was born and raised in Rossville, Georgia and moved to Indiana at age 13.
3) I am a giant. 6'0" tall and I wear a size 13 shoe in women's.
4) I have been an EMT since December 2009.
5) I am married to the love of my life, Irwin, and we just celebrated our 2 year anniversary on Sept. 24th.
6) We have a son named Landon who was born on October 2, 2012.
7) I use cloth diapers on my son.
8) I am kinda a "crunchy" mom.
9) I still breast feed my son and will continue to do so until he decides to stop.
10) I used to be athletic until I became a mom. Now I am just boring and out of shape.
11) I am a Christian and not afraid to admit it.
12) My husband and I love guns. We own a variety of them.
13) I am a hunter. I've only killed bucks, haven't had the privilege of getting a doe yet.
14) I live for fall. Pumpkins, bonfires, fresh crisp air, and pretty trees makes this girl happy
15) I hate cleaning. My husband hates that I hate cleaning. I'm learning :)
16) I need to diet and exercise but I always find an excuse not to.
17) I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews, 3 of which lives in North Carolina :(
18) I follow two blogs religiously because they are just freakin awesome! Here and here. Seriously, you won't be disappointed.
19) I'm running out of things to say.
20) Its way past my bedtime!
